Rum & Quartz was founded by Amanda Baker in 2020. The brand is dedicated to providing high-quality wellness resources that enhance self-care and self-love.

The idea came to Amanda after countless interactions with family and friends who wanted to know her self-care routine and wellness secrets. Amanda realized that most of the people she knew didn't truly have a solid self-care routine, so she set out to educate others and encourage the incorporation of wellness into their every day lives.

Her own routine was based heavily on her Caribbean culture. Growing up she learned the tried-and-true Caribbean secrets of wellness and spirituality. As an adult, her spiritual journey led her to incorporate additional tools into her routine including meditation, healing crystals, mindfulness exercises, yoga and personalized skincare.

The name Rum & Quartz pays tribute to the many ways Rum is used in the Caribbean culture; as a means of natural healing, cleansing and infusing, while Quartz points to the start of her use of healing crystals; to generate love, kindness, and neutralize energy that held her back from vibrating at her highest.
